Why I Joined this Group

Hiya Everyone!

Am called Leila Kigha and I presently live in Douala CAMEROON where I work as a Journalist/ communication and personal brand consultant.

I have been part of this group for a bit but permit me say why i joined this group.

I got introduced to World pulse and world pulse Sub Sahara Africa by the one and only Mrs Chi Leina Yvonne. My dear friend and sister for as long as I have lived hahaha!

I joint out of solidarity but I stayed out of conviction. When I listened and read stories of women in my continent I began associating with them and their causes in my heart. I told myself there are many women out there who like me believe in a different world altogether. I draw strength and motivation to go on when I read a story of struggle and change by a sister.

As a continent we have similar struggles in Africa. What happens to a community or a sister in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania etc resonates with us here in Cameroon. The degree might vary but what is true of them is true of us also. This group is a platform where our voices meet to form one strong community of change makers and I believe the impact be it in with decision makers, community leaders or grassroots associations will be stronger and more effective.

I hope to learn from the various experiences shared and also share mine. I look forward to working with each and every one of you in what ever way possible.

Cheers!
