When paintings talk

Some people have been artists publicly known throughout life, others just sense in silence they are artists, many people are dosing their talent as a rewarding hobby that few have access to and others experience it as a revelation that becomes indomitable acting as a trigger of that inner recognition: I am a painter, writer, sculptor, cook, filmmaker, poet, musician and I dedicate my life to art, because between joy and sadness, I find the happiness of the meaning of my existence in this world

Susana Khabbaz paints and writes from the full freedom of her soul, not limited by measures, shapes, symmetry or styles that define her proposal, which stands out for its sincerity and a touch of naivety which gives the authenticity of who does not respond to a creative impulse training and therefore carries a genuine message.

As a painter and writer of a message for mankind, the beauty of her paintings and thoughts is a result , not a purpose. A result that connects with the viewer who enter her art either through her paintings, always accompanied by writing, or directly through the words compiled into her Notebook of Thoughts.

Paintings of Susana Khabbaz’s collection speak in many different ways. It is sometimes hard to know what comes first? Paintings or words?…”I don’t know, it is never the same, each one is like a living being that manifests itself in a different way”
