When i first moved to Oregon and experienced a decade of dark dismal winters, i found out i had low Vitamin D levels when i was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. That and other combinations of what they believe causes MS, mine being the fact i was exposed to a virus or toxin before the age of 15 (the mo for MS) was getting Mono.
Research is leaning toward that if someone increases their Vitamin D taking 10,000 mg a day, could deflate the immune system and slow MS progression
