VISIT 1 — PROTECT: Peace Begins With Safety

Yesterday, we started our Peace Is A Safe Girl school visit, allowing these young girls to explore what it means to live safely in their bodies, in their communities, in their relationships.

We will build on the foundation of the Sugar Daddy Awareness sessions and went deeper to what does it mean to feel safe? What robs you of that safety? What can you do about it?

After the session, we grouped the Girls into 6 groups and we had six different issues that we tackled. They girls came together, tackled the scenerio placed before them, they choosed team leaders from each team to discuss the topic.

At the end, two teams had the best answers to there scenerios, the female teachers joined us and acted as the judge listening to the girls.

We finally got a winner from the two team and presented books to them.

Everyone felt seen, happy and looking forward to our next visit in June for Pillar 2- Equip.

We couldn't afford new Peace Cards so we said our affirmations together and the girls wrote it down.

We were so excited to hear that there decision cards are always with them and they have been making better decisions.

The principal was so exited and even supported our transportation.

Sometimes, all you need is passion and love for this work not so much funds. We had this visit with zero funds but reached girls eager to learn about how to protect their body peace, inner peace, community peace etc.

We will keep taking baby steps..

Every girl needs to learn how to protect her peace.

Peace Is a Safe Girl.
