The letter is addressed to UN Leaders, calling their attention to how Indigenous women and girls disproportionately suffer violence. The letter was drafted in collaboration with Indigenous women of Every Woman Treaty’s coalition and asks UN leaders to support the new Optional Protocol to CEDAW on violence against women and girls.
