The year started on a sound note we applied for trainings and  for the first time application  were approved  with  goodies airport  transfers e.t.c Mid March the President  declared lock down,  no social  gatherings e. t. c dreams shattered !!!! Life has changed  living from know to unknown  schools were closed  our girls  were exchanging  sex for sanitary towels,  boys were hawking masks,  ripe bananas, women exchanging  sex for firewood to avoid  being  taken  to court. Expectant mothers not attending ANC, stock out of vaccines and family planning  commodities, cases of  domestic  violence ,incest. In August  the president  uplifted lock down economy  was and is still wanting.  Though cases of diarrhoea reduced people are now washing  hands.At the moment  we are  losing  people  with underlying  issues  due to  covid 19 they are taken  to hospital  when  their health  has deteriorated.  Our health systems not well equipped  and oxygen  equipment  are lying in  Mombasa  due to  high tax national government  not releasing money to  sub national level.
