My Journey!

Hello Everyone! My english is not perfect but I would try to tell you my journey (my life)orpart of it!

I'm 26 years old, first child of three girls. My Family is my bless! My parents always told me: "we're small if we believe that, we have a big potencial in ourselves, all you have to do is feed that potentialand work to be the personyou want to be" and I truly believe that.I'm from Honduras, a beautiful and full of potencial country. Everyone says that Honduras is a poor country, I don't believe that! I believe that we are a small country with big minds and big ideas.

I have a communications and advertising degree,since I graduate I've been working at Vital Voices Honduras an NGO that empowers and helps women entrepreneurs to develop their businesses with training, mentoring and leadership. This work is my dream, I can say right now I truly love my job because I'm always surrounded by women who want to make a difference, who inspire me everyday and inspire everyone! I do all communications work, Public Relations, Events, and all fun stuff that you can imagine. I also produce documentaries for our anual event "Women Transforming Honduras", awards that we gave to five women who works extraordinary with love and passionin five categories: Human Rights, Economic Development,Political Participation, Rising Voices (a very young woman who's doing or leading a project in your community and our program award Golden Mentee and Mentor, I could write all day and night about how perfect,inspiring andgratifying my work is, but I'll write a post about it later. As a professional I know mywork is very importantbecause my actionsmake our work visible as an NGO who believe in the honduran women potential. That's why We believe, empower and invest in women. We do a lot of things to make our mentees(Beneficiaries) successful women, our program is very complete although we don'tgive monetary assistance, we give them some mostimportant things like a hand, a person of a group of persons who believe in them, persons who always be there to help them and say to them: "you can do this, you are a strong and powerful women, your business is going to be ok!, we gave themtools andknowledge ti succeed.We love our menteess and mentors and our program is a very successful tool for all women entrepreneurs who believe that your ideas can change our country and their lives.

My dream right now is to be able to do things that inspire, empower women at some point they can do whatever they want with your business, to learn for teach and most important I want to be part of the change. Change of poor mind, that all women realize how valuable they are and with our help they can do great things, fulfill their entrepreneurial dreams and be complete leaders of their homes, families and generations.
