I am an English language educator, social activist, and project manager from Lebanon. My passion lies in empowering individuals through education, especially women, youth, and marginalized communities. As an eTwinning Ambassador, I’ve been fortunate to connect teachers and students across borders, creating opportunities for collaboration and cultural exchange. I believe that education is the most powerful tool for transformation, and I am deeply committed to using it as a catalyst for positive change.

Living in Lebanon, I’m surrounded by a vibrant culture and a resilient community that inspires me daily. Despite the challenges, the people of Lebanon have a unique ability to come together, celebrate life, and embrace hope. This resilience is something I carry with me in all aspects of my work.

My name, Hawraa, is of Arabic origin and means “a woman with captivating, radiant eyes.” It symbolizes strength and beauty, qualities that I strive to embody in my life and work.

One of my greatest inspirations is my daughter, who was born prematurely. Watching her overcome obstacles with courage and determination has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and the power of hope. These experiences fuel my passion for empowering others to rise above their circumstances and reach their full potential.
