This year, on October 11, 2024, we celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child under the theme "Empowering Girls: Ending Child Marriage." This global observance recognizes the unique challenges and opportunities faced by girls worldwide and underscores the importance of investing in their education, health, and well-being.

Child marriage remains a pervasive issue affecting millions of girls across the globe. It robs girls of their childhood, education, and future prospects, perpetuating cycles of poverty and inequality. By empowering girls and ending child marriage, we can create a more just and equitable world for all.

The Queen Sheba Village Organization joins the global community in celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child. We reaffirm our commitment to empowering girls and promoting their rights and well-being. We believe that every girl, regardless of her circumstances, deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential.
