Here are key takeaways from my talk on this panel

Shout out to the graphic designer, I love the feeling of being on this beautifully crafted flier 🤩

That's by the way, sha...Okay, let’s be honest… a lot of programmes look good until they meet real life.

Yesterday, I joined the ITDFC - International Trade & Delegation Federation of Chambers, @itdfc.insta High-Level Webinar, organised by Sunandita Kanjilal and moderated by Akash Appama (CED (SA))on "Empowering African Women in Inclusive Economic Transformation".

After the keynote speech by H. E Paul Sobba Massaquoi, my fellow panellists Jane Anyango - Kang'ethe, Beatrice Simwapenga-Hamusonde, Esther Priscilla Biamah Danquah, Dr Amb. Diplomat. Shaymaa Abdel Nabi, Fatima Zara Imam, and I shared insights on the topic.

Here are key takeaways from my talk:

I. Africa is not one template

What works in Nairobi may not work in Lagos. What works in Lagos may not work in rural Northern Nigeria. Same continent, different realities.

II. Context is everything

Culture, language, infrastructure, and money realities matter more than polished programme design. If you miss that, you miss the people.

III. Visibility is power

If women’s work is not seen, it rarely gets funded, supported, or scaled.

That’s exactly what I’m building with #OmoteRoDhe Media, documenting women’s stories so impact doesn’t stay invisible.

What story are you telling, and whom is it shaping?
