Girls need protection and an education

Hello friends. I continue to receive communication from Liberia, Africa about the program we support to educate girls. While the numbers aren't in the tens of thousands, a good number of girls are getting an elementary education and graduating. One major thing Liberia needs is free schooling. High schools are few and far between and students must pay to attend. We are part of the United Methodist Church and the programs we support are totally supported by this institution. I urge everyone to set aside ten dollars a month and send it through an organization with transparency, to make education available to girls. When a girl graduates from 8th grade, the number of children she will have is reduced from the usual 8-10 to 3-4. This allows her family to eat better, be able to send the children in the house to school and improves the future of the household/village.
