"FOLLOW ME". Let's Connect

Compliments of the New Year trailblazers, go getters, amazing women.

realized that i was falling back on making connections. Unlike previous years, this year I intend to work at making meaningful connections. If you are reading this then you are the person I am talking to. Let us connect. Please “FOLLOW ME” and I will follow you back because we are stronger together.

Let me tell you a bit about myself:

My name is Charlene Gail Taruwona and I am from Harare, Zimbabwe. I am currently studying towards my Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB). I have a great passion for Human Rights, the environment and wildlife conservation. I am the Founder and Director of Family Bonds Foundation,

- an initiative inspired by the realization of an increase in family breakdowns, increase in child abuse, especially on the girl child, women abuse and disregard of rights of vulnerable groups. The thrust of our initiatives is to build families and communities that are resilient to vulnerability through capacitation and rehabilitation.

I co-host the Red Couch Session – a program by Women’s Coalition of Zimbabwe which comprises weekly live Facebook and Twitter discussions about girls and young women’s issues. I also host my own talk show called The Charlene Show,
