Empowerment | work on progress

What a tricky word that is! In my community which is located in the heart of Amman “the capital of Jordan” you will notice how much it is critically for women to be empowered when you see how much they are struggling in a daily basis against aback word culture that use the religion as an excuse to strangle any freedom of choice.
Empowerment starts with freedom of choice and it’s also the process of changing the mind sites of the women itself so they will start saying:”that’s not right! And it’s not ok!”
We can say that we want to empower women but it’s just a work on progress and it’s still we need to protect women and give them the sense of security and maybe we could help a lot of them who are insecure and sick of stereotypes.
My neighbor told me once it’s hard to stand up for each others because we are raised with the male mind sites and we are judging each other as women.
