Ekitinisa' -'Respect is abused'

'Ekitinisa' means respect in Rukiga. As children grew up, they were always reminded to sit properly and their private parts were referred to their 'respect'. When Anna became an adolescent her teachers kept on emphasizing the need for them to maintain their respect.

Anna became fed up of being referred to as a disrespectful girl in school. She was bold to approach the teacher to give him his respect. Lets teach our children what each part of their bodies does and how they can maintain and protect them.
