Initiative: Strengthening the Implementation of Sections 375 & 376 of the Pakistan law

This initiative aims to strengthen the implementation of Sections 375 and 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code by ensuring effective legal protection, timely investigation, and access to justice for survivors of sexual violence. It focuses on improving coordination among police, healthcare providers, prosecutors, and relevant government institutions so that cases are handled with dignity, confidentiality, and sensitivity.

The initiative will also promote awareness among communities, particularly women and girls, about their legal rights and available protection mechanisms. It calls for stronger accountability, victim-centered procedures, and effective monitoring of cases to reduce delays and ensure that perpetrators are held accountable in accordance with the law.

Core Objective: To create a safer and more responsive legal system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where survivors of sexual violence can report cases without fear, receive timely support, and obtain justice.
